The MILWAUKEE® 38-Piece Metric Tap & Die PACKOUT™ Set includes precision machined threading accessories and the most versatile Hex-LOK™ 2-in-1 Handle for the most common applications. The set features 17 straight-flute taps and 17 1” hex dies with long-lasting laser-etched sizing for the clearest markings and includes a protective Black Oxide coating for corrosion resistance. The Hex-LOK™ 2-in-1 Handle combines the benefit of both internal and external threading within one handle by its compatibility with both 1” hex dies and the MILWAUKEE® tap collet. The handle�s ergonomic grip is designed to deliver ultimate user comfort while cutting threads. The all-metal construction allows for tool-free die and tap collet changes and is optimized for maximum balance and control when threading. The Plug Taps square shank is compatible with all standard tap handles or tap wrenches and is designed for through-hole threading. The Hex Dies 1” hex shape is compatible with the Hex-LOK™ 2-in-1 Handle, as well as all standard 1” Hex Die stocks. The set includes accompanying drill bits for pilot drilling and is designed for use with drill drivers. The Taps and Dies are designed for cutting threads in the most common metal applications including brass, aluminum, mild steel, and more. For best results, use with cutting fluid.
