Curved Jaw Pliers: Designed for versatility, the profile of these jaws is a combination of an irregular curve and a straight tip. The curved section locks onto hex-shaped bolt heads, rounded-off nuts, pipes, and square tubing with the aggressive, nonslip bite of deep, sharp teeth. The straight tip clamps and holds flat stock, L-angle, and sheet metal with shallow, closely spaced teeth that offer an evenly distributed grip. Long Nose Jaws: Tapered along its full length and width to a relatively fine tip, the profile of these jaws is a combination of a long, narrow, straight section and a shallow, irregular curve at the base. When positioning and clamping parts for welding or assembly, getting everything lined up perfectly and held in place can be frustrating. To make it easier and faster, our locking pliers are designed with a pull-type release lever that allows you to clamp, release, reposition, and clamp again with one hand, unlike a traditional pinch-type release lever that requires different hand positions (and often two hands) to lock and to release.
